Hello Internet,
Day two of the LA project complete…
Felt good today, still catching up on that sleep I have been lacking since getting back on land. But, I felt like I got a good amount last night for the first time since I have been off the ship.
When I woke up I caught up with some old friends. My buddy Josh and I had a great lunch across the street from ASG casting. Must have been good luck because I ended up getting my first audition after being home. I am very excited to get back out there and trying and make it happen again. I was on such a hot Callback and “hold” streak for two years without a booking. Like they say in Baseball, I am starting to feel like I am due up for some big things. The audition is for Degree anti-perspirant and it seems like a pretty cool spot.

I have a show booked for next Saturday with The Really Awesome Improv Show. One show is not good enough for me though. I really need to get out and find some groups that will let me hop in. I need to be doing at least 4 shows a week for me to be growing as a performer. Attack, Attack, Attack! After my audition, I think I am going to head over to the building and try and get some opportunities going on, wether it is interning with entertainment or getting involved in some new shows out there.
I spent the last piece of the day unpacking my many boxes and suitcases. I did all of this while watching the San Jose Sharks lose by one point to a joke team!!! Gross…
The new look to my room is coming along, hopefully I can get that finished tomorrow night. I want to wake up early to try and get a good workout in at Valley Ice Center. Then it is off to the audition. Wish me luck…
I’ll leave with a photo that was sent to me via a good friend at The Second City aboard the NCL Jewel. Referring to themselves as my fan club. Made the day all the better.

PS- I tell you what wasn’t productive. Spending 5 fucking hours on the phone with X-Box live trying to get that shit set up again. What a waste of time, those people are morons. Then the guy had the balls to ask me what I do for a living and when I told him. He said, it is a lot like what he does for a living. No sir, being a comedian and actor is nothing like (sort of) helping people fix a video game console over the phone.
Oh yea, and I ate some pez that had been left out during the fumigation of our apartment. Uhh ohhh, If you don’t see a “DAY.3.” post… I died in my sleep.
